TAPE

Yay! You either have new tape in or a new tape row to now maintain at home. Here are some ways to ensure you do it correctly.

TAPE

SHAMPOOING
-DO NOT shampoo for the first 48 hours after your application.
-When shampooing you'll be able to get your fingers in between your panels to ensure proper scalp cleansing.
-Avoid using hydrating or moisturizing shampoos. Shampoos for volume or color are the best option.

CONDITIONING
-When applying conditioner always start at the ends of your hair working your way up to the mineshaft then finally with what is left on your hands run through the top of your hair. Avoiding getting access conditioner where your weft application is at the scalp.

BRUSHING
-It is important to brush your hair thoroughly. When brushing you should hear a slight noise as you brush over the panels. This is normal and good to hear!
-Only use brush that is made for extensions.

BLOW DRYING
-It is important to blow dry the roots of your hair ON MEDIUM HEAT. It is fine to let the ends dry naturally.
-If you're going to round brush your new hair it is best to blow dry the root first and get the hair 80% dry and then use your round brush to finish and smooth.
-If you have multiple rows it is best to separate the rows to ensure dryness.

STYLING
-When heat styling your hair be sure your hot tools are 350 degrees or lower.
-Always use some type of heat protectant on your hair before heat styling.
-Using oil on the ends of your new hair is a great way to ensure your hair longevity.

RE-APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SCHEDULED EVERY 6-8 WEEKS.
